Having been raised in a multicultural household (I have dual nationality, French and US) and having travelled (as well as worked) in several different countries, I am able to establish a good rapport with people and adapt to new environments quickly and seamlessly. Throughout my life I have been keen to try new things, push my boundaries and broaden my horizons while working towards and achieving ambitious academic and professional goals. Indeed, I earned a BA in dual French, US and British Law at the competitive University Paris Ouest la Defense where I also earned a Masters in Teaching French as a Foreign Language and completed my PGCE at the number one university worldwide for education, UCL Institute of Education.

Outside of school I enjoy several sports; I swam for my hometown’s synchronized swimming team at competitive level and I still enjoy going for a swim whenever I can! I enjoy cooking (however I am dreadful at baking!), going to the cinema or comedy shows and live music !

What do you feel makes BISB unique?

To me BISB is unique in that it stimulates students and encourages them to think critically, to be engaged in their learning and to become independent thinkers. Indeed, I believe that the teachers here at BISB don't limit their role to the classroom but are completely involved in the school life at various levels. We all believe that being a teacher goes beyond the classroom; in order to enrich pupils, we must be involved in all aspects of our student’s education and development. Moreover, we value the impact that parents can have on a student’s learning and so I we made it our priority to maintain a good rapport with parents as this also helps us to understand the needs of my students more greatly. We understand our role as role models as well as a teachers, but we are also inspired by our students and use this within their learning.
