While pursuing her bachelor degree in Hotels and Tourism Management, Thida started her career in the food and beverage service department at Sunway Hotel, an international 4-star hotel chain with a branch in Phnom Penh. She spent 9 years with the hotel, 4 years in the food and beverage industry and 5 years in human resources, with her last role being an assistant to the HR Manager.
After the hotel industry and just as she graduated with her master degree in management, Thida decided to leave the hotel industry and joined the British American Tobacco (BAT) and spent more than 5 years in a human resources capacity. She quickly progressed and moved up from an executive level to a management position, with her last role being BAT's Employee Service Manager.
Prior to joining Northbridge International School Cambodia, she worked for Laurelton Diamonds Manufacturing, which is a subsidiary of Tiffany & Co. as a Human Resources Manager. As part of leadership team at Laurelton, she contributed and committed to the best of the success of the factory and was always recognized by the company as an outstanding performer.
