Worldfest

  • Worldfest Jousting 2014

As Charlotte’s only International School we are committed to developing young people that have a broader world view, embrace diversity, with a genuine interest in the lives of others. The British International School of Charlotte would like to encourage you to help us in these efforts by making a contribution to our 2016 Worldfest Celebration sponsored by our Community Parent Volunteer Group. This is an opportunity for our community to come together, have a fun time and raise money for charity.

Each year our students choose an international or national charity and a local charity to be the beneficiary of our support. Through a variety of fundraising events throughout the school year with Worldfest being the biggest and most inclusive event we are able to make a difference in the world. Last year they donated to the Project 2 Heal and the Wounded Warriors Project.

Worldfest is a carnival type event where we celebrate different cultures around the world with a variety of stage performances, games, art work, raffles, moon bounces and food from around the world.

Worldfest is May 13, 2016. This year, profits will be donated to the Sandbox charity and the Save the Children charity.
