Admissions Process

School Tour

Group and individual tours are provided year round and are a required part of the application process for all grade levels.

Complete and submit an application along with the application fee.

Meeting with the Director of Admissions

An in person meeting with a member of the admissions office is a required part of the application process; accommodations can be made for families who are not local. This will be an opportunity for us to get to know a little bit more about your family as well as giving you a chance to ask questions about our programs.

Applicant Visit

Visits provide children with the opportunity to meet BISC students and faculty, and are a required part of the application process. Group visits and individual visit will be an option for children applying to Nursery, Reception and Year 1 and individual visits will be scheduled for applicants to Year 2 – Year 6.

School Records and Additional Information

Please print and sign the School Report Form and give it to the school in which your child is enrolled if currently attending a school or educational program. This release authorizes the applicant’s school to provide the Admissions Office with confidential information and school records. The Admissions Office welcomes any additional information about an applicant’s academic and social skills that you believe may be helpful to the Admissions Committee.

Personal Recommendations

Personal Recommendations are optional. A Personal Recommendation often provides an additional perspective, allowing the Admissions Committee to get to know the applicant and/or applicant’s family better. Please note that these forms can be sent in at any point during the application process. You can submit them via mail, fax, or as an attachment to an email, admissions@bischicagolp.org.  

Parent Statement

Parent Statements are optional. All applicant families will have an opportunity to meet with a member of the Admissions Office as part of the application process, and are welcome to share any additional information by submitting a parent statement. Please note that these forms  can be sent in at any point during the application process. You can submit them via mail, fax, or as an attachment to an email, admissions@bischicagolp.org  

Family Photo

Please feel free send us a copy of a recent family photo to attach to your child’s application. You can either place one in the mail or email an electronic copy to admissions@bischicagolp.org.

*Families interested in applying to both the Lincoln Park and the South Loop campus only need to complete one application and pay one application fee. Please communicate to the admissions office at the campus you submitted the application in order to have your records shared with the second campus. Families are required to go through the admissions process at both campuses if they would like to be considered for admission at both campuses.

Please note we are still accepting applications for admission. Families interested should submit the online application and reach out to the admissions office in order to begin the process. We cannot guarantee the ability to complete late applications by the below notification dates.

*Early Action is an option for families who are interested in a shorter admissions process and believe BISC is their first choice school. In addition to an expedited process this provides an option to secure enrollment in your desired grade. Early Action is available only for Nursery - Year 6 applicants.

Financial Aid

Families interested in applying for Financial Aid will need to complete the Fianancial Aid Worksheet and submit an application through TADS. Please contact the Admissions Office for complete details and any questions.

There is a non-refundable $50.00 applicant fee per applicant for all grades. The fee may be paid online here or mailed to:
