Just before half term, BISC Lincoln Park welcomed back Richter Studios to produce a series of films showcasing the kind of activities we get up on the STEAM corridor. Working with them for two days, Richter Studios show that they really understand how we put our students first in all we do at BISC Lincoln Park. This is evident in the way the films have been cut and put together, bringing the children’s natural curiosity to the forefront.
We involved students from across Key Stages 1 and 2, and by the end of the two days, we had enough footage to create three videos. Reviewing the first edits we were blown away with the students’ natural enthusiasm for STEAM. This reflects the engagement I see every day on the STEAM Corridor from the whole-school community. The STEAM department is really becoming what we envisaged: the beating, STEAM-y, creative engine of the school. I’m confident that as we continue to evolve our STEAM provision, we are tooling our children with the skills and mindset to tackle any task they come across in the future!
We can’t wait to share the finished films with you. In the meantime here are some snaps from the production days.
