Key Stage 1

In this key stage, the students build on their understanding of the world beyond their own cultures and communities. They develop knowledge, skills and understanding across many subjects and are becoming more independent with their thinking.

In Year 1 this year, students will be exploring the following topics:

  • Buildings

In Year 2 this year, students will be exploring the following topics:

Key Stage 2

In the older year groups, the students continue to build on the knowledge, skills and understanding from the previous key stage while again developing new ideas and concepts. They are able to discuss their learning in greater depth and can make increasingly complex links in subjects across the curriculum. They have more opportunities to work collaboratively and are given more freedom and independence in making choices for their learning.
