What are the aims for your students and your teaching philosophy?

As a teacher, my aim is to help students see the strength within themselves by using the learning of music as a means of self-discovery. Lessons incorporate listening, technique building, theory, ear training, duets, and improvisation to develop deeper understanding and mastery. Musical material becomes a jumping off point for creative expression and interpretation.

What is the highlight of your performing career?

Playing "Over the Rainbow" for my parents' wedding anniversary
