Teaching Artist (Violin)

Meet our newest teaching artist, Meghan Henson! She is a distinguished violin teacher from Charleston, SC.

Meghan has been teaching since 2005, when she started to work as her own violin teacher's teaching assistant. She enjoys working with students of all ages, but especially loves the energy and enthusiasm of young violin students. Her guiding philosophy is that learning music, apart from being an enjoyable creative pursuit, can teach practical skills that enhance the lives of every student. Meghan relocated to Chicago from Charleston, SC in August of 2016 to pursue her Master's degree in Violin Performance at DePaul University with Dr. Olga Kaler.
