Learning Resource Leader

I was born in Wales, but grew up mostly in Bedfordshire, England. I am a bit of a global nomad, and I have lived and worked in South Korea, Hanoi, Bahrain, and most recently Ho Chi Minh City. I also lived for a year in Sydney, Australia while studying during a sabbatical year from Korea. Although I do love travel I usually go back home to Wales at least once a year. My first solo trip was a school exchange to Chicago when I was 13. I wonder if anything will seem familiar to me after all these years. Maybe I will meet my original host family from back then.

I believe that there's no limit to what every student can achieve. By developing independence and confidence, students can be supported to take learning risks. This allows them to develop and use their own learning power. Trust and a sense of humor can both help children persist towards each next goal. They can all be successful lifelong learners.
