After graduating from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Law, I returned to London and spent several years working in the legal and property sectors. However, growing up with Cantonese as an additional language, I have always been interested in helping others learn another language. After obtaining my Trinity Cert in TESOL, I taught English in Bangkok before returning to the U.K where I achieved my PGCE in Primary Education. I taught for two years in London before joining the British International School of Chicago, Lincoln Park in 2013. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in Chicago and love the variety of culture and entertainment that this city has to offer. In my spare time, I enjoy maintaining a very active lifestyle. I like working out at the gym and attending boxing classes. I am also a member of a number of sports leagues, including kickball and dodgeball. I am also passionate about traveling and have been fortunate to visit a wide variety of places since moving to America.
Creativity and challenge help our students get better every day. My class are passionate learners because they are engaged by the imaginative and fun ways that teaching is delivered. They love learning because it is differentiated and everyone feels that they can succeed.
