Boys Soccer

Middle School

We’d like to extend a big congratulations to the middle school boys soccer team for finishing in second place in the 2015 soccer playoffs. After an extremely competitive and intense game against Near North Montessori, the boys unfortunately lost on penalties 4-3 (1-1 in normal time).

However, it was a fantastic season! Well done and thank you to all who represented the school this season: Sam A., Chris A., Nika B., Alex C., Benicio C., CJ H., Nick H., Pablo L., Emiliano L., Louis M., Emre M., Adam N., Nick O., Othel O., Yash P., Alex R., Varun S., Sepehr S., Callum S., Luca S., Michael V., Cole W., Billy W., Sumair Y., Lucas Y. and Jack Z.

We would also like to thank a few team members for their exceptional performance throughout the season: Emre and Chris for scoring the majority of goals, Varun for serving as captain of most games and consistently showing excellently timed tackles and distribution; and Sumair for demonstrating consistent improvement and brilliant skills to press the opponent.

Finally, thank you to all the parents who have supported the team this season.

High School

It was a dynamite season for our high school boys soccer team. They dedicated time before and after school several days each week, honing their skills and playing matches against other schools in the Chicago area. To see the high school boys soccer team in action, watch the video above. Thanks to Science Specialist Mr. Howland for putting together such a fantastic highlights film!

Girls Volleyball

High School

The high school girls volleyball team completed their season with an undefeated record and, impressively, only dropped one set in the entire season. In their last game, the team travelled to Wolcott and was pushed into a deciding final set. The girls showed courage and determination to fight back and win the match. This season, the team worked hard and put on some magical performances. Well done to the team on a well-deserved first place standing!
