Our middle school sports teams participate in the Chicago Area Middle School (CAMS) Conference, and on Tuesday, our middle school boys soccer team started the season with a big win over Sylvester.

The BISC Bulldogs kicked off the game with a few nerves, struggling to settle on the ball and rushing forward momentum. But our first goal came from Adam’s good play down the right side. He worked hard and scored with a tidy finish. The goal settled the team, and we started to play the ball around better. Emre added to the scoring with a solid strike. Sylvester showed signs of tight defense with some strong tackling, but Billy got on the score sheet with some nice footwork and finish to follow. During half time, we discussed ball retention, tracking back and grabbing a few more goals. Yash scored first the second half, tapping in from close range after a goal-mouth scramble. Before the match ended, Billy kicked another goal, helping us score a 5-0 win.

Emre earned MVP for scoring two goals and presenting a constant threat down the wing.

We’re looking forward to putting on another strong performance at Lycee on Thursday, September 17.
