On Sunday, September 20, we teamed up with our friends at British International School of Chicago, Lincoln Park to support Make-A-Wish Illinois.
Together, more than 100 members of the BISC family donned their favorite superhero costumes to raise proceeds and complete a 5K race in support of Make-A-Wish Illinois. Make-A-Wish fulfills wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions. This year, BISC was the event's top fundraiser! All participating teams fundraised more than $200,000 for Make-A-Wish.
Two of our team members were also among the top-20 fastest finishers. Congratulations to Director of Athletics Lucy Harper and Assistant Head of Secondary Andy Stone, who completed the race in 21:37 and 22:33, respectively.
Way to go, Bulldogs!
