Middle School Boys Soccer Team Scores Championship We wrapped an undefeated season with a big win in the playoff final!

After finishing the season with excellent results against Lycee Francais (5-0), Waldorf (6-0) and Near North Montessori (3-1 and 3-0), the Middle School Boys Soccer Team entered the CAMS League playoffs undefeated and strong favorites.

The first playoff against Catherine Cook (CC) proved to be intense. With the help of Larson, we scored early on with. CC was into the game by half time and tied it up 1-1. The score was 2-1 with just five minutes remaining when CC made a goal. After some tactical changes, we gained possession and improved our defensive, leading to Larson's second goal of the game. With the game tied up, we headed to over time. We dominated offense in overtime but were unable to score. With a switch in players, Chris was able to save two penalties, leading to a Bulldog victory!

In the final playoff, we battled Near North Montessori (NNM). We started strong with an early goal from Chris who volleyed from 20 yards. Scoring a second goal was a struggle, but after switching to a more defensive formation and some crucial saves by Mikey, we won with a score of 1-0. With that, we became league champions!
