I developed a passion for language at a very young age and was fortunate enough to begin learning French at the age of 8 and Spanish at 11. During this time, I saw a lot of the world and learned about many different cultures. It seemed only natural, then, that I should study both French and Spanish at university. While studying, I spent a year in Avignon, France, and a year in Granada, Spain.
After university, I worked for a Spanish property company, but it was my friends and family who urged me to consider teaching as a career. I am so glad I did! Within two hours of walking into a classroom, I realized what I had been missing and I have never looked back! I spent four years working in a Primary School in central London as the Modern Foreign Languages Coordinator and Spanish Teacher.
In my spare time, I enjoy yoga and swimming. I recently undertook a Channel Swim Challenge at my local pool to raise money for a children’s cancer charity. Being a language teacher, I still enjoy learning, myself, and always look for opportunities to learn another language. My passion for travel and language also means I love trying new resturants and cooking. I enjoy going to outdoor music events with my husband and son.

“Señora Cavill is a lovely teacher because her lessons are fun, especially when we play games. I always learn something new by the end of them.”
