Physical Education Specialist

My positive attitude towards teaching stems from seeing firsthand the remarkable effect that teachers and coaches can have on young people’s lives. Throughout my teaching career, I have always aimed to help children become the best they can be, not only in the field of Physical Education, but within society as a whole.

I grew up in a village, called Denham, just outside London where I represented my school in almost every sport. I was also part of Queens Park Rangers Academy, which helped develop my technical and tactical knowledge of soccer and gave me a chance to play at a high level across the country.

Prior to starting university, I traveled to the United States and coached soccer. I was able to coach in more than 10 states but spent the majority of my time in Winnetka, Evanston, Highland Park and Western Springs, Illinois. It was a fantastic experience and part of the reason I aimed to return to America.

I earned a bachelor’s degree in Education and Physical Education at Brunel University, and then went on to get my degree in Education at University of Hertfordshire. I was previously a Physical Education teacher and Deputy Head of Year 7 at a school in Buckinghamshire.

Away from school I enjoy going to the gym, playing soccer, supporting my beloved Chelsea FC, skiing and playing and writing music.
