Before moving to Chengdu, Emma taught Year 4 in Suzhou, China. Previously she taught Grade 2 students in Jordan for 2 years where she also served as IPC Coordinator. She has 4 years’ experience in New Zealand working with students from Y4-6.
In 2009, Emma completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Primary). She thoroughly enjoys linking her skills she gained from completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Visual Imaging, majoring in Photography in 2008 into her classroom and working environment, and have successfully worked with students entering Provincial and National Photographic Competitions in NZ.
She is passionate about Literacy and Numeracy. She does this by giving them opportunities to connect, collaborate and utilize ICT in their learning environments.
