I believe that I have found the perfect place to fulfill a dream of teaching abroad. I was recently married this summer and will be bringing my partner, Lauren, over to teach in Year 2.
Originally from Birmingham I am fortunate to have a strong family base in both Birmingham and Sheffield and I am proud uncle to two young nieces.
In my time at university I moved to Nottingham where I gained my undergraduate degree in Sport and Environmental Science. Then moved to Sheffield where achieved my post graduate certificate of education (PGCE).
Since then I have been teaching both Key Stage 1 and 2 and found my calling in Year 5 where I have taught the past two years. I have a strong sporting background and specialize in this subject as part of my qualification and believe teamwork to be a strong value to have.
At Compass I aim to promote the love for learning while producing independent and resilient learners. I will be bringing my Art and sports passions along with me and would like to produce collaborative art and coach children in a range of sporting disciplines.
I play Rugby and Squash and have a passion for challenges of all kinds. I enjoy seeing friends , watching movies and live music.
