On Saturday morning 10 Year 6 students attended the Dubai College Rugby 7s, which was the first Rugby tournament for our pupils and the future is looking bright for NAS Dubai in this competitive sport here in Dubai. Our Year 6 team managed to progress to the Plate final against JESS Ranches. NAS started the final strongly and took a lead into half-time; unfortunately we went down 19-21 at the final whistle. This was a great result for NAS Dubai in their first tournament and the first time many of our players have played together.
Well done to the entire team who never gave up and played excellent rugby throughout the day – to play six fixtures in one morning was quite an achievement from these boys.
