Cheryl graduated from the University of London, Goldsmith’s College, 18 years ago with BA Ed Hons in Primary Education and Physical Education.
During her teaching career in the UK, she held diverse Leadership roles, culminating in being appointed Deputy Head teacher to open The Discovery School in Kent in 2003. Whilst there, she was seconded by the Local Authority to support other schools in developing a student led learning approach, providing challenge for all learners. Piloted learning enrichment and school transition projects, as well as, Curriculum Development initiatives which were published for use in schools. In 2007, Cheryl gained her NPQH. Her international move to Dubai in 2008, provided Cheryl with the opportunity to work as Director of Learning at an ‘all through’ school and then in 2010 as Deputy Head teacher at Dubai English Speaking School. During this time she also qualified as a Counsellor and ILM Workplace Coach.
Her greatest passions are spending time with her Husband and two children and embarking on any outdoor sports. Completing a marathon is her next challenge!
