After completing my degree I moved to Lyon in France. During my time in Lyon I specialised in Interactive Theatre and Drama Therapy in Lyon Lumière University.
The University of Lyon proposed a project to join drama and language teaching in 2008 and my teaching adventure started there. I used the skills I had developed in drama and art with my passion for languages to teach my students.
I continued to work in Lyon as an Arabic teacher and at the same time I taught in the south of France -Elne, in an Art Center where children came with social workers and special educators to Art workshops. In this center I was directing the language and drama workshops for eight years.
I am a passionate teacher and enjoy creating lessons in which children can enjoy language through actions and movement. I am deeply convinced that the Arabic language like any other foreign language can be learnt through engaging lessons where the child can experiment with a variety of skills, singing, dancing, writing, expressing his or her own feelings and thoughts.
I am really proud and happy to be a member of Nord Anglia International School Dubai, where everybody is creative, passionate and engaged in the teaching process.
