Secondary Science, Gifted and Talented Team

Originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, I studied Civil Engineering at Sheffield University. I developed my passion for teaching during a year long stint as a ‘live-in’ Graduate Assistant at a boarding school in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Following this I went back to Sheffield University to study Physics with Maths PGDE.

Moving to Manchester to start my teaching career was another big move and I’ve had the best of time here enjoying every minute. Manchester is such a big, diverse city and while I enjoy it here, I’ve always wanted to work abroad and experience something new so I’m really looking forward to starting at NAS Dubai. The vision and ideals of Nord Anglia are infectious and I can’t wait to start. I have a passion for teaching Physics but I also currently have responsibilities for Talented and Gifted STEM events within the Science Department.

In my spare time I enjoy crafts and outdoor activities, but I’m a netballer through and through! I’ve played all through School and University so I hope to carry on in Dubai.
