I love running after-school sports clubs and look forward to immersing myself in sporting activities at NAS Dubai.
I have been living and teaching in Dubai for 3 years and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I am quite accustomed to living overseas and spent most of my childhood moving between international schools in different countries such as Russia, Ascension Island, France and Holland. I feel that the traveling bug has never left me, hence my decision to make Dubai my new home.
During my three years teaching in Dubai I have worked in Year 5, but also had the opportunity to become KS2 Science curriculum leader. One of my main strengths as a teacher is my creativity and enthusiasm within my lessons. I carefully consider cross-curricular links with the current topics being studied, whilst also relating the objective to a real life situation. This engages the children fully within the lessons thus creating a positive and exciting working environment.
My main passion is cycling, I have raced ever since I was young and currently race for the Cycle Hub bike shop team based in Motor City. We race all over the UAE, which has been a fantastic way to explore and meet new people.
I am thrilled about starting my new journey at NAS and meeting lots of new lovely children, parents and colleagues.
