NCAA Academic Eligibility
Student-athletes who want to play intercollegiate sports in their first year of college must meet the requirements of the NCAA for the athletic division of their university. More information is available at NCAA Eligibility Center. All students interested in playing sports at the university level should consult with their college advisors.
In order to be eligible to participate in NCAA athletics as a college freshman, all students must be deemed eligible by the NCAA Eligibility Center. To be certified by the NCAA Eligibility Center, students must:
- Begin an application for the NCAA Eligibility Center by the end of grade eleven.
