Dear WPS Families,

I would like to extend a heartfelt welcome to our new WPS families, as well as our returning families for another amazing year at Windermere Prep. My name is Kelly Hanning and I am excited to be serving as the 2016-2017 Windermere Prep Volunteer Association President. I’m looking forward to working with you all, along with our administration, as we plan some new amazing community building and student enrichment activities and events. The WPVA is the Parent Volunteer Association at WPS. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing support for the educational and recreational needs of our children through enrichment programs and also promoting a sense of community to encourage school spirit and pride.

Your WPVA works hard all year long planning our many school wide events that include our Welcome Back Breakfast for parents on the first morning of school, Welcome Back BBQ coinciding with our first home football game, Lower School Holiday Shop, and Father/Daughter Dance. We are also planning new events, such as a tennis tournament and a casual, adult only Party at the Pines. Check out our WPVA website at www.mywpva.com for more information about our “Fun Forecast” calendar of events with dates and details of these fun-filled activities.

We hope you will consider getting involved with your WPVA this school year. Everything we do is based on volunteers and all your support will make a difference in the lives of our children. You are welcome to sign up on-line here. I look forward to working with you this school year, and thank you for your dedication in making a difference in our community and our school. On Behalf of the entire WPVA Board, welcome to the new school year!

With Warm Regards,

Kelly Hanning
WPVA President 2016-2017
