Football | BSG D3 Girls vs AISG

Our first home game in years saw the Division 3 Girls C team secure a 1-0 win against AISG3.

A poacher's goal from Ruth Velasco secured a well deserved win in an exciting but ultimately BSG-dominated game!

An early success with an AISG (American International School) handball in the area gave Chloe Son a great chance to grab the lead. Chloe did score, only for it to be disallowed for a goalkeeper infringement. The retaken penalty was not as fortunate.

Strong defence from Sitara, Chloe Z and Sienna at the back made life easy for Alisha in goal. The strong midfield of Sophia, Laura, Chloe S and Martyna, along with the energy of Ruth and Amelie, meant that BSG were always looking likely to score.

Ruth made the much deserved breakthrough with a great one on one finish late in the first half — this gives the girls loads of confidence before the tournament on the 29th.
