Profile - Jason Yu

MFL Teacher & Head of House

I studied French, Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Nottingham, UK. During this time, I was fortunate enough to study and work in places such as Paris, Madrid and São Paulo. Following my degree, I took a scholarship to study Mandarin at Beijing Language and Culture University. I am a Cambridge CELTA-trained English teacher and I have also been using my linguistic skills in the MFL department.

Having studied languages since a young age, my interests predominantly lie in languages and cultures. Whether it be foreign film or literature, I have always been intrigued by the way different people see things differently. A similarly strong passion of mine is sports, and in particular, football, which I have followed closely for as long as I can remember.
