Year 7 Scavenger Hunt

Yesterday, our Year 7s braved the wet weather yesterday and ventured out on the NAIS Amazing Race! They travelled across Hong Kong by mini-bus, double decker bus, Star Ferry, tram and all the way by to school by MTR.

Here's an excerpt from one of the team blogs (written by Miss Kenny's team):

Teams were selected at random and luckily we were a team full of super athletic people! We planned our route before setting off in the Art Department and decided to start at the farthest location from NAIS, then brought ourselves back. We arrived at TST and were against the clock to get to our first destination. The athletes then headed swiftly on to the Avenue of Stars but decided against seeing Bruce Lee because it was too time consuming. We managed to get some pics at the art and space museum whilst at TST.

We got the MTR to Admiralty to visit Hong Kong Park. It was then time to head to Central where most of our destinations were. It was a long trek up the never ending steps to the Zoo and had a nice lunch at Subway within Central Piers.  Our Journey took us to Tin Hau and we went to Victoria Park Tennis Court for a photo on centre court! After that we returned to Lam Tim, we went to the park and took another photo. We magically found a Hong Kong flag in a stationary shop.

Our focus as a team, was the BIG points and we worked very well as a team.

The highlights of our trip were:

Polina's fall down the stairs (and this created stair phobia)

Caleb and Angus practiced their pull ups on the MTR

Hiding from the opposition in Tak Tin Plaza...We found the green vacuum first!

A great day out and our team moto is: Aim high , the sky's the limit!

Final results will be announced this Friday!
