Staff Profile: Ms. C. Hung

Ms. C. Hung

Mandarin Teacher

Miss Hung graduated from the Hong Kong Institute of Education with a BA (Hons) in Primary Education and obtained a Master’s degree in Chinese Education from the Hong Kong University. She previously taught at an international school in Hong Kong.

I have over 10 years teaching experience teaching Mandarin at international schools so I am very familiar with the needs of local and international students. I have developed my teaching style and activities in a way that can motivate students. More importantly, they find learning Chinese fun and enjoyable! My students will say I am a nice and responsible teacher who listens to them too!

Being ambitious for my students is the core value within my teaching. It can be divided into 3 stages namely knowing, understanding and application. Students need to apply what they have learnt into daily life and this can be achieved through tailor-made learning programmes and on-going progress monitoring.

Outside of school, I love cooking and hiking. I enjoy buying fresh ingredients from the market and preparing Chinese dishes for my family. Hiking is also another favorite activity where I can get away and relax from the crowded city and exercise in the fresh air.
