Mr. N. De Sousa
Mr. De Sousa taught at Holy Trinity School, in North West London and before that was the Head of Drama at Peterborough and St. Margaret’s School in North London where he was responsible for running the GCSE Drama course for 5 years. This included devising lively schemes of work often dealing with citizenship issues. The GCSE enabled pupils to use Drama to explore issues of conflict, justice and equality as well as study set plays from Shakespeare, to Oscar Wilde and Arthur Miller as well as allowing students to work on performance skills needed for the acting elements of the syllabus.
Mr. De Sousa graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London and gained his QTS at Hertfordshire University. Mr. De Sousa also trained as an actor at Drama Studio London and is working with the University of Warwick and Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) to complete a specialism in teaching Shakespeare to young people.
