    Head of P.E.

    Mr. M. Pate

    Mr Pate graduated from Edinburgh University with a BEd (Hons) in Physical Education. He also gained a post graduate certificate from Strathclyde University in Management in Education. He has been a Principal Teacher of Guidance and was a Deputy Head teacher at a school in Glasgow.

    Mr. D. Reid

    Mr. Reid graduated from Canterbury Christchurch University with a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science, receiving recognition for Excellence in Sports Psychology. He was the Head of P.E. in a Sports College on the outskirts of London before joining NAIS. Mr. Reid has taught both GSCE P.E. and BTEC Sports with outstanding results.

    Ms. M. Farry

    Ms. Farry has a joint honours degree in Physical Education and Primary Education from the University of Leeds. Since graduating she has worked in both a classroom setting and as a specialist P.E. teacher.

    Ms. Farry has worked in a number of International settings including posts in New Zealand, Kuwait, Nigeria, Korea and Hong Kong.

    I am extremely committed to ensuring that all students are given the opportunity to develop a range of skills through the medium of Physical Education.

    Mr. N. Day

    Mr. Day has been teaching Physical Education for 11 years. During this time, he has worked from KS1 through to KS5, in various primary and secondary schools. He has taught both in the UK, and internationally, in China and Hong Kong.

    Mr. Day has vast experience in a range of Physical Education courses having taught GCSE, and BTEC courses, and - for the last 4 years - IGCSE PE. He brings to the role a genuine enthusiasm for all sports.

    Mrs. B Howe

    Since graduating in 2006, Mrs. B Howe's career as a P.E. teacher has taken her on a varied and exciting journey.  She has spent much of this time teaching in central London, during the past seven years of which she has led a successful P.E. department in a secondary comprehensive girls’ school.  Prior to this, she taught across all primary key stages during her role as school sports coordinator and she also spent a short time in Australia where she taught PE and Health in a range of schools.
