I desired to return to a college setting so I went to work at the University of Houston Main Campus as an Admissions Counselor and Recruiter. While I had an excellent experience, I knew I wanted to work on a more personal level with students, parents and teachers. It was that knowledge and drive that led me to the unparallelled British International School of Houston.
When I am not working, I thoroughly enjoy being active, whether that be running around my neighborhood or a Houston park, working out or walking around, exploring the city. I’m also a big fan of travel, electronic dance music, weekend brunch and Cirque du Soleil. Big foodie here and always down to try a new restaurant or cuisine.
This school is different to all others I've worked at because...
The thing that makes the British International School of Houston so dynamically different than other schools is the deliberate and persistent effort to make and maintain the school as being student-driven, student led. It is inspiring to see such independent, intelligent, well-spoken students happily learning in a positive and nuturing environment. It’s not something you see very often but it’s clearly evident at the British International School of Houston, every day.
