Since qualifying, I have taught in Lille-France and later in the London borough of Greenwich as a KS2 teacher across Years 4, 5 and 6. My additional responsibilities in London included being Science Coordinator and Dance Coordinator. I also mentored several students from various London universities. In 2013 I joined the British International School of Chicago, Lincoln Park. Teaching across KS2 and being responsible for KS2 math, I have found it to be incredibly rewarding. It has afforded me the opportunity to teach throughout the whole of a key stage, to meet so may children and to appreciate the enormous progress that is made each year.
I was born in Warwickshire and lived there with my family until I was 18 when I moved to school in Canada. Following this experience, I returned to the UK to study French at the University of Bristol and later at The University of Leeds. Outside of work I enjoy dance and aerobic fitness, skiing, musical theater, traveling and exploring new and exciting places. I have absolutely loved every aspect of life in Chicago (even the cold!), and now look forward to warmer climates in Katy!

This school is different to all others I've taught at because...
I find so many aspects of this school make it unique, but for me, what makes Nord Anglia so special is its diversity. Children’s differences are recognized and celebrated. Dedicated teachers engage and excite the children in their learning in a challenging yet nurturing environment, and children flourish.
