I also worked as a Research Nurse at Roche Pharmaceuticals. I have managed to maintain my Nurse Registration during my international travels by working as a school nurse, both in Switzerland and USA, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I recently made a career change by working on Reception. This allows me to work closer with the children and families of the British International School of Houston. I always look forward to new adventures and keep options open to new career movements within BISH.
I am a Mum to 21 year old twins who are former BISH students currently studying in the UK and a 15 year old who attends BISH. I love entertaining, socialising and travelling, in between the most wonderful role of being a Mum. I also enjoy gardening, listening to music and skiing. I have had so many amazing experiences as a result of my family travels and I embrace every opportunity thrown at me. I believe the recipe for being happy is appreciating and liking what you have instead of what you don’t have and to be happy over the good fortune of others.
This school is different to all others I have worked at because...
BISH is a most unique and friendly setting for both students and staff. It offers fantastic teaching and support. I really enjoy being part of the “BISH family” and believe it to be a very close, special, yet most professional environment to work in. It is an honour to be exposed and involved in such a global community/extended family.
