Having worked abroad for many years, Juliet returned to NZ in 1996 to train as a teacher and gain valuable experience, before putting her travel shoes back on. With a passion for learning, she enjoys encouraging this in others, and has achieved her own goals of leading others within the area of best practice, curriculum development and evaluation.
Growing up in Papua New Guinea, Juliet has a thirst for learning about other cultures, which has led to her living all over the world for many years. She loves cooking, so visiting local markets and discovering new food varieties and recipes is essential in any new country. An active environmentalist and community service volunteer, Juliet loves getting involved with local and national projects to help create a more harmonious, happy world. She is enthusiastically looking forward to becoming a valued member of the NIS team and the local community.
