After graduating as a teacher, Tara worked as a Nursery 2 homeroom teacher at Raffles International School, Jakarta. She also worked as a substitute teacher at Jakarta Intercultural School (JIS) across all primary grades from Kindergarten to Grade 5 over six years. Through this experience, Tara recognized that teaching children through an enquiry led program was highly empowering and rewarding. She has since pursued Reggio inspired teaching practices for early years.
She is pleased to be introducing the world to young minds through a child centric, hands-on approach whereby children develop a love for learning and are willing to take risks as learners. She is committed to creating a stimulating and dynamic environment for her learners to thrive in.
Tara is blessed with two children, aged 15 years and 11 years. Her spouse’s job in advertising has taken her to Malaysia and Singapore previously. She is passionate about running, yoga, diving and volcano climbing!
