With a visit based around the theme of ‘A Journey of Art and Education’, Mr. Ye interacted with students and teachers to help further their understanding and deepen their appreciation for drama.
In the morning, Mr. Ye Xunqian held a training session for our learning teams. Through his animated approach and interesting case studies, he interpreted and deduced the importance of seamless integration of drama in education and how this can help unfold students’ unlimited creativity inside and outside the classroom.
In the afternoon, Mr. Ye worked directly with our Grade 4 students to deliver an outstanding group performance based on students’ individual interpretations of ‘Colour’. The performance not only demonstrated the bold and vivid imaginations of our Grade 4 students but their growing skills of adapting ideas to the stage.
The visit has laid a solid foundation for drama teaching at NACIS and sparked an interest among our students for further study. Drama at NACIS will stretch our students’ imagination and build on self-confidence allowing them to become adept at expression.
