Lynn Ren

Ren Lin (Lynn), a secondary mathematics teacher, graduated in statistics from Shanghai Finance and Economics University and obtained master and AP teacher training certificate. She worked as a mathematics teacher of WLSA project in the International Department of Secondary School of Fudan University and taught statistics and calculus.

Lynn will add more practical courses to stimulate the students' interest in learning, enable students to apply what they have learned, deepen their understanding, improve the interdisciplinary knowledge and improve ability to solve the problem. In addition to emphasizing mathematical practice, she blends related mathematics history into important mathematical theorems. She wants to bring children not only the skills in solving problems, but also logical thinking and critical thinking skills.

Lynn thinks that a teacher should establish “ambitious” teaching expectations and objectives based on knowing students, encourage students to explore their potential, improve themselves and become “ambitious” global citizens.

Lynn likes reading and travelling and is curious about new things. She believes that books can help people step into the life and mind of various people without walking out of door. Meanwhile, reading and travelling also provide creation for her teaching.
