(I) GCSE Options Fair prepares students for their subject choices Regents offers information events for future (I) GCSE students. To best cater for our growing number of (I) GCSE students, Regents International School Pattaya recently offered its first ever (I) GCSE Options Day Fair for the over 70 Year 9 students currently studying at the school.

The fair gave the Year 9 students a detailed overview of what each subject will look like in Year 10 and 11. Teachers and IB students were also on hand to answer questions and offer advice about selecting the right combination of subjects. In addition, current Year 10 and 11 students provided their insight into life after Year 9 by running a drop-in question and answer session. After school the fair remained open so that parents could also visit each subject area and find out more information about the subjects which their son/daughter had shown an interest in.

A second key event in the Year 9 Options process was offered when parents and students spent an evening listening to information and advice from Mr Paul McConnell, Deputy Head of Secondary and Mrs Sarah Travis-Mulford, Assistant Head of Secondary. This provided a further opportunity for essential questions to be asked and answered by all.

The final event will take place on Monday 28th April when we have our annual Year 9 Parents Evening. This will begin at 5.30pm in the Early Years Building.
