Flip Flop Day - 20 THB Donation Required

Regents Families led by Acting Principal Mr Grant Gillies will be racing in flip flops in Chiang Mai, taking on a 5k challenge to raise money for the charity Women with a Mission,

Specifically to raise funds for the teachers’ salaries at the school for children of Burmese migrant workers in Mae Sot for which funding for food has been the only available funding since October 2016.

The Early Years, Primary and Secondary schools will come together to show our support for this challenge by making this day a flip flop day. Students will be asked to bring 20baht to school as a donation for the Women with a Mission funding, and should place the money in their House Collection Bottle underneath their trophy cabinet at the entrance to the school. The house with the most funding raised will win the privilege of wearing flip flops for a second day – Wednesday 22nd March. The winning house will be announced Friday 17th March.
Students who have PE, Science or DT on Fridays should bring in their sports shoes for their lessons.
