How to sign up?
Activities are optional for students from Pre-Nursery to Year 2. All Year 3 - 6 students must participate in activities on Monday and Thursday; they are assigned on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
Parents of students in Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Reception will be able to select activities online. This will be sent to you at 09:00 on Monday when sign-up opens. Parents of students in Years 1 – 6 will need to select a place for your child on Moodle*using the log in details that they received at school during the past week. This will also open at 09:00 on Monday. All sign-ups will close on the 31stof August at 17:00 . *Please find a step by step guide to the Moodle CCA signup here.
Payment (where applicable)
If you have enrolled for a club that requires payment, an invoice will be issued to you once the sign on deadline has passed. Payment can be made either by bank transfer directly into one of the School’s bank accounts (details of which will be displayed on the face of the invoice), or by payment of cash in the Finance Office.
To ensure your child can participate in a paid club, payments must be received by Friday the 8th of September 2017. Please note that signing up for a paid-club indicates a binding commitment to attend those sessions for that term. Also, there will be no refunds given due to your child being absent from clubs, and the School will not offer refunds due to unforeseen closures of school in emergency situations.
Please note once we have past the deadline date we will not be accepting any new students in clubs.
Co-Curricular Activities will start the week beginning Monday the 4th of September and conclude in the week beginning Thursday the 30th of November, therefore it will be an 11-week programme for most clubs.
Supervision of Students
Please be aware that children attending CCAs or paid clubs will be supervised by school staff between the end of their school day. If you usually collect your child after school then please do at the end of the CCA or paid activity.
After a long day in school your child might feel hungry. If you would like them to have a snack before their activity, please provide this (in a container in their school bag.) Snacks should follow our healthy eating policy and should not contain nuts.
Late buses are available each afternoon on Mondays and Thursdays at 16:25. This service can only be utilised by those children who usually use the school bus service and must be booked through the Primary Office at least 24 hours in advance of the date it is required. Otherwise, parents need to provide transport home for their children.
**There is no late bus on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday. Parents are responsible for collecting children from school if they attend an activity finishing after 15:00 on those days. **
