At Regents International School we believe in students not only developing as learners, but also as global citizens. As a Round Square School, Round Square IDEALS are embedded in everything we do to allow students to develop holistically. This year, our Co-Curricular Activities will be based around the Round Square IDEALS , too. Please find them outlined below.
We would strongly encourage students to select two activities from the six IDEALS to allow them to develop a wide range of skills and understanding, however we do understand in some cases this may not be possible:
Students learn to see themselves as global citizens and to look beyond gender, class, race, nationality and culture to understand human nature.
Freedom of thought and speech is greatly encouraged and appropriate forums and channels of communication are set in place.
Students learn about the fine balance needed to maintain a healthy interdependent relationship between human beings and the planet.
Schools offer activities that foster a spirit of adventure and allow students to discover that they are capable of more than they might have imagined.
Students learn that true leadership is serving others and is found in those whose convictions are rooted in personal responsibility, kindness and justice.
Students come face-to-face with the plight of those in most need around the world and discover how they can make a positive and sustainable difference through service.

How to sign up?
All students must participate in activities on Monday and Thursday and activities are assigned on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. You will need to select a place for your child on Moodle.
Payment (where applicable)
If you have enrolled for a club that requires payment, an invoice will be issued to you once the sign on deadline has passed. Payment can be made either by bank transfer directly into one of the School’s bank accounts (details of which will be displayed on the face of the invoice), or by payment of cash in the Finance Office.
To ensure your child can participate in a paid club, payments must be received by Friday the 8th of September 2017. Please note that signing up for a paid-club indicates a binding commitment to attend those sessions for that term. Also, there will be no refunds given due to your child being absent from clubs (including school arranged events), and the School will not offer refunds due to unforeseen closures of school in emergency situations.
Please note once we have past the deadline date we will not be accepting any new students in clubs.
Co-Curricular Activities will start the week beginning Monday the 4th of September and conclude in the week beginning Thursday the 30th of November, therefore it will be an 11-week programme for most clubs.
Late buses are available each afternoon on Mondays and Thursdays at 16:25. This service can only be utilised by those children who usually use the school bus service and must be booked through the Primary Office at least 24 hours in advance of the date it is required. Otherwise, parents need to provide transport home for their children.
**There is no late bus on Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday**
