I joined Regents in 2008, having worked for six years in the British education system. I taught at two primary schools in Devon (UK), serving as KS1 and KS2 classroom teacher and PE coordinator. Having worked in two very similar schools I decided that it was time for a change. I was first attracted to Regents because of the stunning buildings and facilities that were on offer but, having now been here for so long, I can honestly say that there is so much more to working at Regents than this. It is hard to put into words but for those of you who work, live and learn here then you will know exactly what I am talking about.
I have now been part of the Regents family for six years. I initially joined the school as a Year 1 teacher but then moved on to become Year Leader and eventually Head of Key Stage 1. 2013 saw the birth of my beautiful daughter and after a short maternity leave I returned as Head of Lower Key Stage 2 and now Assistant Head of Primary (Key Stage 2).
I have always had an active lifestyle and was a ballerina until the age of 18. I used to keep fit by swimming, bike riding, running and walking my dogs but now I tend to do this by running around after Lily!
