My career began at Trent College, an independent day and boarding school, where I taught Modern Foreign Languages and coached Hockey. I then spent a number of years in Asia, teaching in both Japan and Malaysia, and travelling extensively in this beautiful and exciting part of the world.
As a linguist, I love to travel; from the Trans-Siberian railway and trekking in the Himalayas to the beaches of Bali or cultural city breaks. In my fitter days, I played a number of competitive sports; nowadays, I am more of a spectator but nonetheless enjoy walking, swimming and more sedentary activities such as reading, cinema and theatre.
I join Regents from the British International School, Budapest, also part of the Nord Anglia Education group, where I have been IB Coordinator and Deputy Head of Secondary.
I am proud to be joining such a vibrant school and, as IB Coordinator and Assistant Head of Secondary at Regents, look forward to playing a key role supporting students through this crucial and challenging stage of their education.
