Community

Your children will be part of a local and global community, and our school is dedicated to playing an important role in both

  • Parent community

Our school is characterised by its vibrant, warm and friendly atmosphere, which ensures that members of the community feel involved and valued. The community is a real international mix of families coming from all corners of the world – there are more than 40 nationalities currently represented at our school! Our Parent School Partnership (PSP) help us a great deal to make newcomers feel welcome and a part of this local community - their extended family. The PSP works hard to organise activities which further nurture the lives of both children and parents, providing fun and entertainment for our community as well as raising funds for local and international charities. We are proud of the rich variety of events organised by and for the community of our school.

Our Parent Forum is made up of representatives from the parent body including a spread of nationalities and year groups. The Principal and the Family Liaison are also members of this group. The focus of the group  is to merge the views and aspirations of the parents and the senior management to work together to improve the service we provide to our children and parents.

Your child's world view won't just stop at the school entrance. In addition, the students have the opportunity to be part of The Global Classroom, an innovative educational programme which connects them to students in our other schools in other countries, giving them a richer understanding of the variety of cultures and issues that make up our world. Your child will be nurtured to grow into a strong and confident person, ready to embrace all cultures and work for the greater good.
