Mazhar is from Glasgow. He graduated from Stirling University with a BA (Hons) degree in Marketing.
He spent 7 years teaching English as a Foreign Language in Italy and returned to the UK to train as a primary school teacher. After completing his PGCE in Primary Education with Modern Foreign Languages at Canterbury Christ Church University, he spent 6 years teaching in Kent ‘The Garden of England’. His interests include: playing badminton, running, reading and world cinema. He speaks Italian and Urdu, and is looking forward to adding Czech to his list of languages. He supports his home town football team – Glasgow Celtic!
