Camilla James

Mathematics Teacher

Camilla gained her Joint Honours BSc in Mathematics & Psychology at the University of Birmingham in the UK and stayed on to complete her PGCE straight afterwards.

She taught in Chester in the UK for 5 years before moving on to teach the IB at British schools in El Salvador and then Jordan. For the last few years Camilla has worked as an IB examiner and recently has taken on a role with Cambridge International Education as a teacher trainer.

Camilla tries to combine her love of the outdoors with travel and is always looking for new adventures. Highlights have included trekking in Patagonia, rafting in Peru, cycling across the UK and running from the Dead Sea to the Red Sea in Jordan as part of a team relay. She is currently working out how to continue these pursuits with her two young daughters in tow.
