Stephen Rogers

Stephen has a range of experience from a career spanning over 25 years, both in the UK and internationally. Prior to joining the English International School Prague, Stephen was the Secondary Headteacher at the British School Al Khubairat in Abu Dhabi for 6 years, one of the most prestigious and successful British schools internationally.

Previous to this, Stephen worked for the Department of Education/London Challenge and in a number of senior posts across London and the South East of England. Stephen has always been passionate about creating an environment of high expectation for students of all abilities where they are supported and challenged to perform to their very best. Stephen also believes that schools have to be ambitious for all the students in their care.

Educated at Queen's University, Trinity Hall Cambridge, The University of London and the University of Leicester, Stephen continues to teach in school and in addition to being the Principal is currently working in the MFL department teaching Year 7 Spanish. Stephen is also an Inspector for the Independent Schools Inspectorate and relishes the opportunity to look at the work of other schools around the world.
