Aspirations

Our education encourages all students to aim high in their aspirations for further study and in their careers

  • aspirations

Our careers service aims to provide students throughout the senior school with inspiring careers guidance and support on subject options and post-school choices, empowering each individual to realise their potential.

IB students enjoy a programme of workshops on a range of subjects including interview technique, and how to write a CV.  Guest speakers visit the school throughout the year: these include representatives from universities across the world and leading executives in business and industry.

Students benefit from one-to-one sessions with their careers counsellor, involving practical guidance on university applications, such as how to write their personal statement or college essay.

The latest information on university and careers is disseminated through the careers library, Moodle and CASCAiD careers software.

Links with outside partners have enabled the school to provide our students with SAT tuition and opportunities for internships.
