After ten years of various interesting work experiences, including cruise ships and London adventures, Robyn taught English in Taiwan for a year. She then returned to South Africa and taught Reception in Cape Town for seven years until arriving in Shanghai in 2015.
Robyn has been with NAIS Pudong for two years teaching the Pre-Nursery class. The move to Shanghai has provided an insight into Education trends globally and Nord Anglia University has provided Robyn with further understanding and techniques to effectively teach young international students.
Robyn has a six year old daughter and they have been travelling to many interesting places, with a mutual interest in different cultures and religions. Growing up in South Africa has nurtured and facilitated a passion for learning about animals and they visit animal parks around the world whenever the opportunity arises. China has provided an amazing opportunity to satisfy this curiosity. Robyn is an open water swimmer and has competed in long distance swimming challenges around South African oceans and dams.
